Head Girl’s Basketball Coach for the start of the 2017 season

Applicants need to submit a Letter of Application and two Letters of Recommendation to Richard Busse, GFW Athletic Director, by Aug. 7th, 2017.  

Qualities/Responsibilities include....

•Leading coaches and athletes in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
•Develop and oversee the Girl’s Basketball program at all levels.
•Work closely with the AD on developing game/practice/transportation schedules.
•Maintain equipment/uniform inventory.
•Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, coaching staff, AD, and the
community.
•Maintain a positive attitude that promotes the program within the community.
•Being knowledgeable of MSHSL rules.
•Upholding the expectations of GFW and the GFW community.
We look forward to adding a new coach to our team who will guide future
basketball participants to new levels of success on and off the court.

Position title: Math Tutor –Minnesota Math Corps (*Applicants MUST apply via the Math Corps website.)

Join us as a tutor and help students get on track to become successful in math. We’re looking for 1 tutor to work with grades 5-8 for the 2017-18 school year. 

Tutors come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads, career changers, stay-at-home parents, and retirees. With training, support from onsite coaches, and evidence-based strategies, Math Corps tutors are well-equipped to change lives. No previous teaching experience necessary!

•Planning and running practices
•Coordinating the defensive scheme under the direction of the Head Coach
•Overseeing the functions of game days
•Keeping athletes and parents of athletes informed of practice and game schedules
•Maintaining a positive attitude that promotes the program
•Advancing the vision of the Head Coach
•Being knowledgeable of MSHSL rules and the rules of football
•Keeping inventory and maintaining equipment and uniforms
•Assist in collecting MSHSL forms and participation fees
•Upholding the rules and expectations of GFW and the GFW community
