Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Public Schools 2018
Tami Martin resigned as the Superintendent of Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (GFW) Public Schools. As a long time member of the South Central Service Cooperative, the GFW School Board has decided to use the Cooperative’s Superintendent Search Program to help facilitate the search for a new superintendent as of July 1, 2018. The timeline for the superintendent search is as follows:
May 2nd to May 28, 2018
Advertise, recruit, and accept applications.
A very important component of the search process is to seek staff, student, parent, and community input into the creation of a profile of attributes that a new superintendent should possess to be successful in the GFW School District. You can provide input by attending the community meeting with the Cooperative’s search consultants. The one hour meeting is scheduled as follows:
Day Time Location
If you cannot attend one of the meeting, you can also provide input on-line by clicking below and completing electronically the Superintendent Search Questionnaire. The South Central Service Cooperative Search Consultants will tabulate the results of the returned questionnaires and assist the School Board in the creation of a profile of the skills and abilities that the new superintendent should possess to be successful.
Your engagement in the search process will be greatly appreciated by the GFW School Board. If you have any questions about the search timeline or process please contact Harold Remme, South Central Service Cooperative at or visit with a member of the GFW School Board.
