The district saw an improved interest rate of 3.75% from the assumed rate of 4.31% which allows for more funds to be used on the construction project. The impact on taxpayers was also impacted with a total of $13.96 annually on a $175,000 home with the ag land impact dropping from 36 cents to 35 cents an acre. The board ratified the sale and the district will receive the funds on July 1.

Superintendent’s Report
Dr. Smith shared updates on current open positions in the district as well as the work taking place at the new school site. The stadium will start seeing some serious work as the grandstands are built, field goals added, and the scoreboard coming soon. There will also be more ways for the community to get involved in added items to a planned time capsule at the new school.
