Students and staff at GFW Middle School and High School have begun preparations for the door decorating contest! There will be one winner from middle school grades and one from high school. The fanciest and most festive winners will be announced during Friday's student of the month celebration and will even get donuts.

Elementary Volleyball Camp is coming up and is open to all! This is an opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of the game of basketball and build an energy and excitement for the game.
This program will be led by members of the GFW HS coaching staff and supported by players in grades 9-12.

In third grade, to encourage positive behavior, paraprofessionals draw a student’s name each day and observe their actions during recess and lunch. Students recognized for demonstrating responsibility and kindness receive a blue Positive Behavior slip and enjoy a special seat at the high table at the end of the week. This week, we recognize Ruby, Madison, Miss Erica, Paislee, and Alex. Way to go!
GFW Public Schools will be holding a Two Hour Delay/Late Start tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 10) due to forecasted weather.

Learn how to master the kitchen in our After-School Cooking classes this fall! No cooking experience is necessary to enjoy these tasty classes. All students will learn how to make the meals together and enjoy tasting their creations! Next up on the menu is breakfast tacos on Tuesday, Dec. 16!

GFW Public Schools will be releasing early today (Tuesday, Dec. 9) due to incoming weather. Elementary students will be dismissed at 2 p.m. and MS/HS students will be dismissed at 1:47.
Evening activities are cancelled.

Boys basketball kicks off their season this soon with their first game in the Wabasso Jamboree Tournament. They play at 4 p.m. and we are excited to cheer them on!
